Browser notifications are a great way to stay up to date with the latest survey offers, news and promotions. But in case you no longer want to take advantage of these, notifications are very easy to deactivate. Just follow the simple steps below depending on your browser.

Chrome 

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select ‘Privacy and security’ from the left-hand menu.
  3. Click ‘Site settings’. 
  4. Select ‘Notifications’ under the ‘Permissions’ section.
  5. Scroll down to the ‘Allowed to send notifications’ section, find the Opinion Outpost domain and click on the three dots in the right corner (‘More actions’).
  6. Select ‘Block’.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select ‘Privacy & Security’ from the left-hand menu.
  3. Scroll down to the ‘Permissions’ section, find ‘Notifications’ and click ‘Settings’.
  4. Select the Opinion Outpost domain and change ‘Allow’ to ‘Block’. 
  5. Save changes. 

Safari

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select ‘Websites’ from the top menu.
  3. Scroll down and click on ‘Notifications’.
  4. Select the Opinion Outpost domain. 
  5. Change ‘Allow’ to ‘Deny’.

Edge

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select ‘Cookies and site permissions’.
  3. Scroll down to the ‘All permissions’ section and select ‘Notifications’.
  4. Find the Opinion Outpost domain and click on the three dots in the right corner (‘More actions’).
  5. Select ‘Block’.

Already deactivated notifications but changed your mind?

Go to your Notifications settings, head over to your blocked list, find the Opinion Outpost domain, then ‘Allow’ browser notifications.
